Do I need the cloud to use OpenAVC?

No. OpenAVC is fully functional on its own. Program your spaces, build touch panels, automate everything, all locally. The cloud adds remote visibility and management for teams that want it.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. The free plan includes basic monitoring, the AI assistant (25 prompts/month), and two user seats for up to 3 systems. No credit card required.

What is the difference between Organization and Integrator accounts?

Organizations manage their own AV systems. Think a university, a house of worship, or a corporate campus. Integrator accounts are for AV companies that deploy and manage systems across multiple client sites from a single dashboard. A client site managed by an integrator does not need its own cloud subscription.

Is there an annual discount?

Yes. Annual billing saves about 17%. You pay for 10 months and get 12.

What happens if I exceed my system limit?

Free plans have a hard limit. Paid plans include a 30-day grace period, then per-system overage billing starts automatically. Overage rates vary by plan and are shown during the upgrade process in the cloud portal.

Can I switch between an Organization and Integrator account?

Yes. Contact support and we will help migrate your account.
